Catskill United Methodist Church
About us
Methodism has had a presence in Catskill since 1788. We are a church with a long a rich history, and we've been in our current location since the 1970's. Our longevity in the community of Catskill gives us a great idea of not just how the community has changed, but how we can continue to work to meet the needs of the community.

We are a people that believe that people will, "Know We Are Christians By Our Love." That is the love we are able to exhibit on a daily basis. Our faith community is constantly working to spread a bit of sunshine to the world. We recently raised money for a local food pantry. We have members that crochet and knit hats for cancer patients, we have members that make dresses for girls in africa, and we have members that visit the sick and the homebound. We also have members that work on volunteer projects, including the group below, in our local and the New York State Area. The picture below is from the "Done in a Day" project that we completed in the fall of last year to help a homeowner recover from Hurricane Sandy.
At Catskill United Methodist Church, we're passionate about making sure
all voices are included. Our worship services are blended, and our goal
is to provide a little something for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're 2,
or 92 we've got a place for your in our faith community.
